My name is Ashaki Haroon.

I am an employee at Xavier University of Louisiana. My interest in librarianship is in Academic Library Design and Workforce Development. Designing academic spaces is evidence-based and requires appropriate assessment and user input. I look forward to studying the spatial preferences of academic library users and designing spaces according to those preferences.

Libraries have been a part of my life in some capacity since childhood. Libraries remain a significant part of my world as a parent, employee, and community user.
